What happens when your life ends and you're getting ready to start a new one? Corpse Pose: A Yoga Experience of Life, Death, and Rebirth is part performance, part yoga class imagining the Buddhist concept of bardo - the time between death and rebirth - through movement, yoga, guided meditation, and storytelling.
Part of the Reimagine NYC festival, a citywide event transforming our view of life through examining death, participants will be taken from death to back again in 90 minutes by Samira, played by Minerva Summer, a hilarious transgender southern Italian dakini, and her snivelling assistant Harry, played by musician and performer Harry Einhorn.
The event will also include live music!
