Self Care Self Love Workshop:
In this selfie culture we have cultivated a superficial understanding of self love. This 2 hour class will delve deep into the practice and meaning of self love. Using myofascial release techniques, deep therapeutic stretching, massage therapy and essential oils. The self-love workshop aims to help you build a meaningful and committed relationship with none other than yourself. Develop a consistent and compassionate self-care practice. Come away with an understanding of your own emotional imbalances, reasons we neglect ourselves, our emotions and our bodies. The asana techniques you will enhance the flow of energy, improve mental focus, range of motion and alleviate pain. The use of essential oils will serve as a subtle tool to finding compassion, acceptance and the inspiration for self-love. Therapeutic self-care is complementary to any regular yoga or exercise routine and acts directly on connective tissues as well as the spiritual/emotional body.
As with all styles of Yoga and massage, emphasis is placed on mindful breathing, contemplative, self inquiry and finding balance. Learn how and when to safely apply therapeutic self massage to your regular wellness routine. There is no experience necessary for this class and it is recommended for any and all who wish to:
