Gabriel is a storyteller, theatermaker, teacher, and witch. They have always been obsessed with stories. Growing up, they immersed themselves in a neverending flood of books, comic books, tv shows, and video games. They grew into a young artist with a bright, vivid imagination — who was completely out of touch with their physical body.
Through yoga and meditation, Gabriel found a way back home. A practice for living a life full of both big, shiny ideas and grounded, earthly embodiment. All along this winding road, their constant guide is the awakened imagination. Whether consciously or not, when we practice yoga each of us tells a story with our bodies. It is up to each of us to choose the kind of story we tell.
As a yoga teacher, Gabriel seeks to help people choose to tell stories that are wakeful, nourishing, and healing. You can visit them and learn more at gabrod.com
