Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a deeply restful practice that involves systematically relaxing and withdrawing sense from the body, while maintaining a calm and alert state of mind. It can be practiced by itself to restore an overworked body and mind, or as a precursor to lucid dreaming or astral projection. How deep do you want to go?

Despite a strong & dedicated asana practice, four years into my yoga journey meditation remained a struggle for me. Yoga Nidra was the first style of meditation that I was able to practice on my own with minimal frustration. The body scanning and creative visualizations helped me to focus, connect with my body, regulate my emotions, and really let go in a way I never could before. My style of teaching is inspired by Sri Dharma Mittra's teachings, Swami Saraswati's book Yoga Nidra, and my own practice and experience.
My intention is to give you something useful. Something that not only changes your yoga practice on the mat, but changes the way you experience your existence. We are all doing our best to make our way in this world.
