In this workshop we will focus on one of the most fundamental yoga poses, Downward Facing Dog or Adho Muhka Svannasana.
This will consist of breaking down the posture step-by-step with verbal and hands-on instruction and demonstration. We will dive into the purpose and the principles of Down Dog through alignment and breath, bringing awareness to the anatomy and energy of the body.
This seemingly simple pose actually has a lot going on, taking time to develop and understand. Through this workshop we will cultivate a foundation of Down Dog with which we build and find our yoga practice.
