An Afternoon of Yoga for Beginners with Sasha Sigel
led by Sasha Siegel
This workshop will illuminate three foundational elements of yoga: philosophy, physical poses, and breath.
We'll do an overview on what the holistic practice of yoga is and where it comes from, spend time workshopping the basic physical poses, then experiment with specific breathing techniques. The interactive structure will allow students to examine how yoga can work in their bodies and lives, ask questions, and receive hands on assists (if desired.)
This community oriented afternoon is suited for those who have never stepped foot in a yoga studio, or for students at the beginning of their yoga journey!
