Yoga and the Chakras

Led by Liza Leonard

We will start with an overview of the chakra system and explore each chakra, discussing how to know when they are deficient or overactive and how to balance them. We will then move into specific yoga poses to tap into the chakras. We will also use affirmation, meditation, and writing to reflect on our own chakras and where we want to create more balance.

Open to everyone.

I am an artist, a professional vegan chef, a seeker, and a mover. Yoga has defined the ever-changing and sweetly evolving path of my life for the past five years

Yoga is a practice to connect to oneself but also to the world around us, to make sense of it all. It has the power to transform our bodies, mind, and our lives and communities. Through simple, intentional movement and breathing, we can move our energy and shift our perspective.

I completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in 2016, and has been teaching and practicing in Boston, Madrid, and New York since. My classes draw from my experience with the vinyasa and ashtanga traditions, and incorporate self-reflection and manifesting our intentions into reality.
