This workshop is for yogis who are beginners or advanced yogis who want intentional guidance toward achieving lotus pose. Whether or not lotus pose is your goal, this workshop leads you through a Beginner's Flow aimed at opening up the body to safely maintain lotus pose.
Curious about Lotus Pose but not sure where to start? This workshop is designed for beginners who want to safely and thoughtfully work toward Padmasana (Lotus Pose), with an emphasis on preparation, mobility, and body awareness rather than forcing the shape.
We’ll begin with a beginner-friendly yoga warm up focused on hips, knees, ankles, and spine, building the flexibility and strength needed for lotus and lotus inspired shapes. Kaleb will break down the foundations of the pose step by step, offering modifications, props, and alternative seated postures so each student can explore what’s appropriate for their body.
This workshop prioritizes joint safety, patience, and long-term practice over achievement. Whether lotus is a long-term goal or simply a pose you want to better understand, you’ll leave with practical tools you can apply to your regular yoga practice.
All levels welcome, especially beginners. No prior experience with lotus required.
