Two Weekends: June 8-9 & June 15-16

YOGA, HIKING, WATER CEREMONY, ART, FIRE - ONE DAY + ONE NIGHT

Spend Summer Solstice at Daya Oxford, CT recharging and relaxing. Celebrating the suns power at its peak, is a great time to turn inward and find nourishment for growth. “Earth My Body: Women’s Retreat” will offer the opportunity to get away from the city, spend some time with nature, sisters, tune in to your bodies needs, practice Kundalini, Reiki and Meditation. Unleash the wild woman inside your spirit. A wild woman is someone that privatizes her needs, desires, values, passions and is connected to her inner wisdom and intuition.

 

Schedule:

5:30pm: Catch a ride from Daya Ridgewood, NY

8:30pm: Dinner at Daya Oxford, CT

10:00pm: Rest

Saturday:

8:00am: Outdoors Kundalini Yoga

10:00am: Breakfast

12:00pm: Waterfall?

1:30pm: Lunch at Waterfall

6:30pm: Dinner at Daya Oxford, CT

8:00pm: Dance by outdoor fire

10:00pm: Rest

Sunday:

8:00am: Silent Morning Tea

9:30am: Meditation

10:30am: Breakfast

12:00pm: Aloe Leaf Body Mask and Flower Petal Water cleansing

1:30pm: Lunch

2:30pm: Vision Board Making

4:00pm: Car ride back to Daya Ridgewood, NY

 

Jomayli Suero is a Yogini, Writer and Scholar.

She shares with students the practice of introspective awareness of the body, mind and emotions. Providing tools from her own personal practices such as dynamic vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, meditations (visual, sound, pranayama), kundalini and reiki. It is important to share tools with students that can be applied away from the mat in order to consciously and intentionally navigate their own personal life.

Jomayli received her 300-hour Vinyasa Certificate from Daya Yoga Studio NYC in 2018. In 2019 she studied Kundalini in Guatemala at the Golden Temple receiving her 200-hr in Kundalini & Vinyasa yoga. Along with Level 1 and Level 2 Reiki attunements with Kristen Orsini. Lastly, Suero currently studies Non-Dual Tantrika with Christopher Hareesh Wallis. She received her A.A.S in Psychology from CUNY Bronx Community College in 2015, B.A from SUNY Stony Brook University in Multidisciplinary Studies: Philosophy/Art History/Africana Studies and in 2024 she received her M.A in Art History from SUNY Purchase.
