Loving Kindness or metta is a meditation practice that is intended to activate our sense of compassion and love for others.
“Bodhichitta” or “the wish for enlightenment for all beings” is at the heart of this practice as we learn that love does not come from external sources and instead stems from a deep rooted hope that all beings, everywhere will be liberated from the cycles of suffering.
This meditation is powerful and transformative, inspiring us to love each other in the most radical ways. Step away from the perpetual cycles of self consumed suffering and extend your heart to others.
