Curious about Daya's Advanced Yoga Teacher Training? Join us for an immersive workshop designed to deepen your understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice.

Through an extended master class, Dayamama and Caro Lokah will guide you through approximately five advanced asanas, exploring each pose from the ground up. You'll learn the preparatory postures, alignment principles, modifications, hands-on assists, and the purpose and benefits behind each asana, with an emphasis on finding the expression that is right for your individual body.

Drawing from her background in Ashtanga Yoga, Caro Lokah will share the traditional foundations of the practice, while Dayamama, with nearly two decades of teaching experience, will offer progressive techniques, accessible variations, and thoughtful guidance to help you safely deepen your practice.

The workshop will also include pranayama, sound purification, meditation, and teachings drawn from Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, Katonah Yoga, and Meridian Yoga Therapy, offering a holistic approach to movement, breath, and self-inquiry.

Whether you're an experienced practitioner looking to refine your practice or a yoga teacher seeking greater confidence and depth, this workshop offers practical tools and a glimpse into the immersive learning experience of Daya's 100-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training.

The afternoon concludes with an extended savasana featuring hands-on adjustments, acupressure, and a restorative sound bath.

Dayamama & Caro Lokah

Originally from South Florida, Caro Lokah discovered yoga at 15 through the traditional 26&2 practice, beginning a lifelong exploration of yoga's many lineages.

At 24, she founded Original Hot Yoga 305, creating a welcoming space where students could explore 26&2, Ashtanga, traditional Hatha, movement meditation, mantra, and more. Though the studio closed during the pandemic, its spirit continues through her teaching.

With over 20 years of dedicated practice, Caro views yoga as a path to healing, self-discovery, and community. Her classes blend strong foundations with curiosity, inviting students to cultivate awareness, resilience, and connection both on and off the mat.

Originally from Poland, Ania Leśniak is the founder of Daya Yoga Studio in Brooklyn, where she has spent nearly two decades cultivating a community centered on yoga, healing, and authentic connection.

After years of practicing Capoeira, Salsa, Swing, Tarantella, and Contact Improvisation, Ania found her true home in yoga. Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Bhakti Yoga now form the foundation of her practice and teaching.

She has studied with John T. of Atmananda Yoga, Yoga Sukhavati, Rose Erin Vaughan, the Katonah Yoga community, and many other respected teachers. A transformative experience at the Golden Temple in Guatemala deepened her understanding of Kundalini Shakti and her path as a healer.

Alongside teaching yoga, Ania is a Reiki practitioner, intuitive healer, and sound practitioner. Through Daya, she shares practices that help people reconnect with themselves and navigate life with greater awareness, purpose, and compassion.
